Political parties employ people and people choose to work for them, it's a job just like any other, it's a life just like any other person in any other job.
That is why I find it amusing when say never had a real job, not sure what you call a real job. To suggest some one Never had a real job in his life, to me that would be some one who has never been employed any job at all
