It depends how it does it, if it runs up 40% on no significant news and breaks above the all time high, it's most likely going to get sold. If it forms up a good base near the all time high(as EBR is trying to do) then the breakout is much more likely to work. It's probably been said by many but a quote from Minervini, "if a stock is going to go up 10,000% it's going to keep making new all time highs the whole way up"(a very simple concept but one most people can't get their heads around and would rather buy new lows than new highs), so making new highs is super important of course .. the key is to know when to buy them, I rarely buy the actual break to new highs, it's normally from a base maybe 10% below the previous high. You want tightness in the price action and a dry up in volume, CU6 at 90c was about as ideal as they come in that respect - EBR setup was actually pretty good just a couple of weeks ago too but the market panic brought it undone ... it'll most likely reset though if it's going to go up
Fwiw imo EBR has fund/insto money in it already, the trading isn't dominated by retail from my observations
