Totally agree. ASIC and AFCA are absolutely useless. Mindless political hacks and toothless idiots should not be given huge regulatory jobs and do nothing.
CBA must be laughing at the current sycophantic state of ASIC and AFCA but the regulatory capture can only continue for so long.
AUSTRAC might start issuing enormous billion dollar fines, and ASIC and AFCA might be revamped to something even perhaps partly useful and fit for purpose.
