Currently is very favourable for gas, domestic supply etc. Best official solution still probably sits with bury the salt because PWN solution is as yet unproven. The brine problem is one that can be stored in ponds and put off until later. Best pitch is financial gains to companies rather than environmental regulations. Other tech solutions possibly in early stage development but tricky to tell due to hush hush nature of things. Would companies put PWN in holding pattern while waiting to see how another tech matured(if there is one)?
