It appears a certain number of punters have picked up the scent of a takeover bid for either PMET or WR1. What else explains the rise for both? Let's hope they're right in our case, but definitely not yet. Only the most recent buyers would be interested in a 90c per share offer. Perhaps next year an offer might look a bit more tempting. As for PMET, they'd have to be offering over $1B even in these depressed times, so that'd hardly be a cheap acquisition.
