Yeah, KD, I saw that too and thought it rated pretty high on the cringeworthy index.

Re- VA, I hear you. I guess that'll depend on how successful this raising is. Apparently BS (CEO) was touting something along the line that they've already got takers lined-up for the Shortfall Shares. What CEO worth their salt isn't going to talk that up before the Offer closes? We'll see. Maybe he's simply hoping to reopen The Laundromat* and dribbling them out via that method. Is so, good luck with that.

*Some history, for the benefit of relative newcomers: During the worst of the last Ni Winter, which for POS was measured c.2015-2018, the company issued new shares and 'laundered' them (hence the term) into the open market via an intermediary broker, using a steady stream of small sell orders during normal open market trading operations. Yes, it's legal, believe it or not. In practical terms it was doable because the amounts required to keep the doors open were materially lower than under today's Board and management spending regime. It was also possible because the SP and associated trading volumes were appreciably higher than they are today. In truth, I find it hard to imagine how practical/effective that method-of-last-resort would be today, given the current SP/volumes -- especially with a potential overhang of Shortfall Shares to be laundered very likely equating to many hundreds of millions of shares.
