I agree with you. Over the past couple of decades, experts have predicted that drones would play a big role not just in warfare but also in everyday civilian life, think surveillance, police patrol, guarding infrastructure etc.

Think back to some sci-fi movies over the last 20 years if you want a fictional point of reference.In terms of drone warfare, we're seeing a similar shift as when tanks changed the battlefield in WWI.

I’ll use artillery as a reference though, which in WWII was often inaccurate until semiconductors brought in precision-guided missiles (first introduced in the gulf war). Drones are now starting to redefine how battles are fought, however are only scratching the surface of what they can do, both offensively and defensively.

The real game-changer will be when AI is fully integrated into drones.Once that happens, we'll likely see drones operating in smart swarms, identifying targets on their own, dodging defenses, and causing significant problems for both militaries and governments.

IMO when AI is incorporated successfully in drones; this will have a similar affect similar to when semiconductors were integrated into long range missiles, taking their accuracy to 80-90%, which was considerably lower prior to the integration. This means that anti-drone tech will need to keep up, or it will quickly become outdated.

That's why investing in R&D is so important. The tech is moving fast, and there's a lot of potential for growth in the anti-drone space.

Whether a company like Droneshield can succeed will depend on how well they can capitalise on this growing market. The opportunity is there, but it'll take strong leadership to make it happen.

What’s almost guarantee though is drones will continue to evolve and become a serious form of strategy, and with it, anti-drone tech will grow as well.
