This is the line in the minister's decision that is troubling:
How can Regis make a decision to appeal if they don't have the same information that the minister has?
Does the potential exist for "confidentiality due to their cultural sensitivity" to hide unrelated reasons for overturning a mining approval? Is that something the industry is worried about?
I will be interested in Regis response with respect to appeal, it might give some insight as to whether there is actually any appetite to develop.
