I knew nothing about Revolution Mining until doing some checking after reading your post. That aside though, I make these comments

Some minable projects can be developed into production quicker and easier than others. There are numerous relevant factors to consider, but it all boils down, imo, to the potential mine demonstrating the probability of both being profitable and having a long life.

Putting aside the critical factor of being able to afford to get to the production stage (that is another matter), I see these things as being favourable facts to an explorer hoping to become a miner:

    1. Being in a location that is not remote.

    2. Having infrastructure that is either in place or imminent or if neither of those, being able to installed as part of a bankable feasibility study. Transport, power and power come to mind straight away, but having a township nearby would help.

    3. Being greenfields with a strong chance to find a lot more minable ore either adjoining or adjacent or nearby.

    4. Having a mineral or minerals that is/are constantly in favour.

SPQ satisfies all 4 criteria, so that is a BIG start for it.

Further on point 3, there is the possibility that SPQ may hold its 100%-owned tenements in a newly-found mineral province. Here, I am talking about porphyry copper-gold- molybdenum-silver mineralisation in many different areas. At present, think Bottletree, Cockie Creek, Wyandotte and maybe Steam Engine too as a discrete gold deposit created by a porphyry event. That is a juicy prospect in itself, but this zone possibly extends for about 50kms. Drool!!

I would forget about comparing what SPQ has with Revolution and the like as imo that is an irrelevant exercise. Think just SPQ instead is my recommendation. That said, getting to production for copper is a long way off, if at all a feasible thing. That is the main aim of management though, so patience is the virtue that has to be practised. In the meantime though, there is the luxury of going into gold production some time over the next year or so.
