Mate, you are out of your league in this thread, IMO.
The big issue facing our system of government
and its distribution of wealth is that the vast majority
are relatively impoverished IE: living from hand to mouth.
If China continues on its current economic trajectory, then
within another generation the Chinese working class will
have passed our western working classes in the form of wealth/
lifestyles .
IMO while the US is trying to stymie China's economic rise
for purportedly military purposes, US capitalists specifically
and western capitalists generally are likely to be very worried
in a generation that western working classes will look at China and say
'Me Too".
China's last Plenum specifically focused on continuing war on corruption
and lifting the standard of living of its working class (the Prolatariat).
The capitalist half of China's economy has paid massive dividends
to its Billionaires (now more than the USA) , generated the biggest
middle class by numbers in the world and lifted 100s of millions
out of abject poverty , so Xi's focus now is to lift the Chinese working class
initially to that of the west and later to outdo the west.
China's model for alleviating poverty (depriving the poor the liberty to be poor)
is being looked at favourably by the BRICS except that India is
somewhat reluctant to bite the bullet but, IMO, eventually it will have
to emulate China in order to maintain social order.
To compare China with India 40 years ago and now is interesting
and one doesn't have to be a sociologist/economist/social engineer
to appreciate what China has done vs that of India.
