Scalise treatment is/ was an autologous stem cell transplant i.e. his own adult hematopoietic stem cells.
Scalise has
NOT taken any notable votes against stem cell research—embryonic or non-embryonic. Refer this link:

Timely ReAuthorization of Necessary Stem-cell Programs Lends Access to Needed Therapies Act of 2021. Phew - what a mouthful.
Anyway, IMO the Scalise guy deserves our support on his stem cell research voting record.
