I dont think it was an arbitrary number in my opinion. For example, if you went to a cafe and afterwords someone asked you how many people were there you might say, there was about 25-30 people. But, if I asked you to look at an aerial photo of the Woodstock concert in 1969 you wouldn't say, oh there were a few hundred of people there would you. This is simply because you know what you are looking at is much larger than a few hundred people. So taking that into account you would say there were hundreds of thousands of people there. Same goes here. Remember lain has been looking at the 3D data for a year now. So when he said 40 billion barrels, his "guess", it was not simply an arbitrary number but it was made based on the data he has seen so far. Is it 40 billion barrels, maybe, maybe not. But it certainly is not 2-4 billion barrels either........in my humble opinion it is much larger 2-4 billion barrels. Cheers
