you are perpetuating the story that they cannot leave Gaza. Gaza elects its own leaders and have access to the sea as well as a border to Egypt. The nature of borders means you share them with other countries who may of may not be hostile to you. A little like the Ukrainian border with Russia (hostile), Belarus (hostile), Hungary - not exactly friendly. Needless to say the hostile borders are tightly patrolled and managed. You surely are not suggesting that Ukraine - as you expect if Israel, open their borders to Russia and leave themselves vulnerable
and while we are on the topic of who patrols what, presumably you are going to attack Egypt for tightly control its border with Gaza.
