I wonder if the Albanese government's decision to knock back McPhillamy's based on the objections of 17 people who whispered in Plibersek's ear has already affected sentiment? I know for sure it will be discussed in boardrooms where the competition for capital plays out. And some of that capital will be fleeing given you can do all the work, spend all the money and someone can make an arbitrary decision. And to top it off the Minister can't tell us why because its secret business! Heaven help us. Good news for this project here, if there is exploration success and an economical ore body to mine people may have well come to their senses by the time approvals are required. A recession, or an existential threat to our current lifestyle should do it.
