As we all try to make sense of why neu has suffered this brutal selloff I thought I'd share this for some perspective. I do own other bio stocks and they havent exactly been performing well either recently, making me think the sector as a whole is a bit on the nose. This heatmap is from tradingview for the all the health technology stocks excluding csl on the asx for the past month. I've excluded csl as the market cap is so large it dwarfs the other names, for interest it was down -0.04% for the month.

What the heatmap shows is that there is a lot of red across the sector over the last month, confirming that apart from a handful of names, bio stocks are not getting much love. I dont know why money has flowed out of the sector, certainly the nbi & xbi etf's in the US are not far off yearly highs so I'm thinking its just an ASX thing. . maybe its reflecting different interest rate outlooks in aus vs elsewhere? Some of these names are doing everything right in my view, eg bot, dxb, bio as examples yet have fallen in the risk off environment and simply not recovered in the bounce. I kind of think money starting flowing out of the sector, neu came up with a slight revenue miss, triggering a massive over reaction imo.

Point being, when money starts flowing back into the sector neu will undoubtedly benefit.

(of the names in the green, not sure of all of them but many have had significant positive news/catalyst events which would explain why they're up)
