Most countries in the world have set the abortion limit to a level whereby the foetus can not survive outside of the womb ie around 22 weeks. Abortions can still be carried out after these dates if the foetus dies or is found to have a terminal condition. This doesn't mean that abortions carried out after 22 weeks (or similar) are 'committing murder'.
