So just to keep it a simple as possible, the total rebates available will only fall by 10.02%, which is certainly not the calamity that everyone is wringing their hands about.
BUT, I think oil Co’s are heaping maximum pressure on the government right now to make sure that they understand they can’t stuff around anymore…the industry NEEDS certainty.
And at 10% less rebate it’s a win for the government and a number the industry can work with..
