Did I ever tell you that when the GG sacked Whitlam, I joined the ALP on principle. It had nothing whatsoever to do with the branch secretary being a hot young lady. Oh that was a wild if short ride. But I resigned from the ALP a couple of months later anyway after I got over my outrage.
