we were nearly dumped by Trump in 2017. the alliances the US held were all under threat from Trump. and regardless of the next US election, any future potus could change the relationship should they be as isolationist or worse than Trump. Vance certainly has that potential imo.
yep we're in deep with the US. Pine Gap has been their installation for decades now and is a vital part of the infrastructure for managing the global systems and communications. that'll be a prime target for any aggressor against the US.
