Hey Nursery - thanks for your opinion - I always value it.
The LAMP plant setting up will not be simple given the very different needs of the various clients. I reckon down the track Lynas will hopefully be able to move up the value-added chain (as China is attempting to do right now)and market fully processed REEs - perhaps in the various specific alloy forms to be sold at great profit to the companies that need them. In many ways if Malaysia works - Lynas will be a 20 year + mining company and a world class chemical processing company. The potential for use of this plant to process other sources of REE may even lead to a spin off company?
I didn't mean to be too pessimistic in my original post penned on the tarmac in Vitenam (got off in 90 minutes actually) but I just know there may be a few hiccups timewise on this important step. Hopefully the SP will be somewhat north of $2 by then and it will be seen as a minor irritant. I believe it will be - and we will all have made heaps of moulah - only problem being the Morgans etc will have made much more!
