Men beating their wives, mothers belting their
kids with the garden hose, married couples
throwing punches at each other, off to the
local soccer with Dad to watch grown adult
spectators box on, kids sent to school with no
lunch because Mum spent her last $10 on
smokes and grog.
All common occurrences growing up.

We thought it was normal, low and behold you
start questioning things later in life and you
realise that half the people in the neighbourhood
were head cases.

Plenty of suburbs and neighbourhoods like that
around. Sad thing is most haven’t got the
intellect or will to change themselves or change
things for the next generation.
