Management and the board need to considers the majority of retail shareholders who have preference for a probably a tax free Return of Capital
payment.
Most of these holders have less than 5000 shares…..the extra payment could be helpful during the cost of living crisis.
It amounts to the board and management being seen as good corporate citizens!
Currently, what I see is that the board is catering for the whims of the institutions….this mob hate benefiting the majority of shareholders
I bought share above the current price and getting an opportunity to reduce my cost base would be beneficial!
