The SC6 standard means 6 grams of Li in each kilo of spodumene or 6 kilos of Li in a tone of spodumene.
If each tone of Li carbonate contains 188 kgs of Li, that means you need ~30 tones of spodumene to produce 1 tone of Li carbonate.
~30 tones of spodumene @ $800/tone + $5,000 for conversion + $500 for transport = $30,000/tone of Li Carbonate from spodumene
How does compare to a $18,000/tone of brine production?
