granted - there is no chance of the project being effected now, by this stage they address all the (relevant)impacts from these action groups and usually the few still protesting havent realized theyve already had their say.

BUT,I guess my point is as a resident of an area, we all need to be able to have our issues heard without being a group of greenies or rednecks or what ever, cause when it comes to your own back yard you will realise, you want to be able have your say on whats happening. most of us here are investor making cash off this deal, its not our life/place, and theres another drill around the corner for most of us. thats all.
