I understand what you believe, but I bet your initial thoughts on that, came from someone else and that you didn't just happen to pick up the Bible one day and read and go OH wow, Jesus pre-existed.

1:14 is NOT when God's word, part of became or resulted in flesh, he is already referred to there as - Word Man (Flesh) became = on the scene.
