thermionic,
i only use the 14.3.3.stoch..
but i also set the Horizontal lines at 70/30 not 80/20 as standard, that tends to keep you in a trade, and out of a lot of slop.
and looking at your charts, i cant see either as a buy, until the stoch breaks above the 30

so the rule of thumb is
you are long and stay long till stoch breaks the 70, and you are short and stay short whilst the stoch is below 30
