I can't for the life of me understand why CBA is priced 2 to 3 times higher on most metrics than global peers.
But I am not complaining.

There are a number of theories:
* Good brand
* Good management
* High growth runway. Immigration has soared and apparently CBA captures 75% of all newly arrived immigrants. As they become established, getting jobs buying houses, starting businesses etc, they help grow CBA's business. Lets face it, most immigrants are hard working and they generally succeed. Not all do. There are some who stay at uni for 10 years, get lowly academic jobs for a few years - lab assistant (part time) - and then reinvent themselves as fantasy index paper traders.
