They've gone past that stage, since acquiring the complete seismic dataset & have a high degree of faith in the DGI's. Here's an image of Artemis prospect frm their earlier preso's (in 2009).
The black vertical line to the left, is CVX's discovery in 2004, Wheatstone #1. This flowed 53 MMcfd frm a 53m net thick sand. Its abt 43 kms to the SW of A#1. Since then Chevy have drilled more wells, all being successful gas discoveries.
MEO r lucky to have 2 known discoveries to calibrate their data with. The other is the Perseus field (65 kms to the East) in the NW Shelf, which has had some bigbore wells (i.e, 9" production tubing) drilled in the Legendre.
Mods, apologies in advance for the image size.
