On a 52-week basis (not '53 weeks' for FY 24), sales only rose 1.8 per cent, below CPI.
The dividend has been maintained despite a higher payout ratio.
As anyone who reads the news knows, a substantial percentage of likely Dan's and BWS/hotels customers have tightened their belts, so the lacklustre sales result is no great surprise.
