Did some further research on this over the weekend.
From what I can see it looks as if the best geothermal exploration areas are in SA, which are covered by Ee1 and Steam resources. Key is to be close to existing transmission infrastructure or to have a power hungry customer close by. Reading back GDY looked to have failed as it was to remote a location.
Advancements made in drilling, have drastically reduced costs and some of the projects underway will be significant (Fervo 400MW at Cape project).
Think this is not well understood by the market and creates a great opportunity. I suspect when some numbers are put out this quarter the market will take notice
