Rock chips are an indicator that a mineral is present at surface level. I would only assume from rock chips that it's an indicator of where to drill but does not automatically mean there will be mineralisation below. There will always be a risk that the rock chips are just that, but you would rather have some sort of an indicator before drilling and rock chips can be it. The bulk sampling should further expose the potential extent of the surface mineralisation, with drilling to be the major test.
