Yeah the raised garden beds with netting solved the chook problem but these bugs
I had sprayed with eco oil, probably needed to up the dosage and do a follow up spray but rain had prevented that. Quite shocked at how much damage the aphids have done in just a week, near all the shallots and garlic in that garden bed are destroyed. Just gave them a spray with eco oil, can but hope to save the few that remain
I have a few garlic in another bed and so far they are OK, defiantly try planting turnips next year
