Realtek may not have knowingly "given up" security, perhaps rather a glitch in the documentation of the contract? Whatever the reason, KPMG has stated RT has no such security. Maybe an omission occurred at RT's end hence no mention yet of legal action? Unfortunately for this or other reasons, there seems to be some conflict in negotiations which hopefully KPMG can resolve.
