These shorters are at (before open today) about 118m short and I reckon then bought back 8m today, I can’t see the quant fools give up just yet, no one in their right mind would be short based on the macro so it’s a reckless trade that they will pour good money after bad until they raise the white flag.
mgt should orchestrate a trading halt, deliver multiple positive announcements and watch the shorters unable to cover and be in breach of their loan agreements when the lenders want their stock back
