100% eh ?
Renewables are now supplying just over 40% of the east coast grid's electricity annually. A number that is increasing quickly year on year .
What happens when a coal plant can't run all the time ? lt's profit starts falling until it gets to the point where it starts to lose money.
Why can't they run all the time ? Because they can't compete with much cheaper renewables on price.
Baseload coal is a dead man walking .
