SINGAPORE, Aug 27 (Reuters) - Train 2 at Ichthys LNG is scheduled to be restarted in October, operator Inpex Corp 1605.T said in an emailed statement on Tuesday.

"Train 2 has been temporarily halted for inspection and repair after an issue was discovered through operational monitoring activities," the Inpex statement said.
"The issue is similar to the one that occurred in another part of the same train and temporarily halted the train last month."
Ichthys LNG is a joint venture between Inpex, TotalEnergies TTEF.PA and the Australian subsidiaries of CPC Corporation Taiwan, Osaka Gas 9532.T , Kansai Electric Power 9503.T , JERA and Toho Gas 9533.T .
The plant's processing trains can produce 8.9 million metric tons of LNG per year.
