You have absolutely no idea. You read a story or two about a house fire and instantly it’s a down ramp opportunity.
Check the statistics for house fires regarding causes. Check the statistics for car fires.
You will find most house fires are electrical faults in the house wiring, candles or other accidental reasons, stove top, arson etc. Any battery fire would be just another statistic, NOT the biggest statistic. Horrible if death results but there can be deaths in any fire.
For vehicle fires, engine (ICE) fires FAR outweigh any fires related to lithium causes. By massive percentages.
The EV story has only just begun. The writing is on the wall, and lithium is the one constant that will remain for a very long time IMO.
Over the next 2 to 3 years the level of EV technology, including safety, will be so much more advanced than what you are looking at today. ICE vehicles are going to be fazed out, there is no stopping that.
