I think you’ll find that the finish date for Avita’s contract extension is related to the start date of the original contract – it started on 29/9/15 and the extension has taken it though 10 years to 28/9/25. Btw, there is the possibility of a further extension for Avita until 31/12/28.
Also, I don’t believe that BARDA is seeking to change over from RECELL to BTM; it would stockpile both. RECELL is stockpiled as an” autograft-sparing product” whereas BTM would be stockpiled as dermal replacement in severe burns in preparation for wound closure with skin graft.
