Tribulation and Wrath are two different events, wrath immediately follows the tribulation -> 7th seal, 7th trump = wrath.
Rapture -> Day of Jesus is END of the Tribulation - rapture and then wrath day of Lord done by Jesus.

The Bible tells you, the House of God (us) is tried first and then it goes on to say the likes of, if it tries us first, look out for the others as it will be worse = wrath.

Also some say with the 7 churches in Rev, not only history but a timeline, lining up with the 7 seals and 7 trumpets and we are in the period of the 6th Church, luke warm.
Not sure how accurate that is though.
