No actual trade can take place on market during trading halt, but traders can still negotiate and agree to terms during trading halt and execute the trade after stock reopens. Much the same way when a stock is in halt during cap raise while sell side brokers are busy out there fishing bids and getting offers.
No idea whether this halt is positive or negative. Could swing either way though given the gas shows in 3 zones to date, and the fact that it was on trend with other discoveries (several NE wells by MIN), I'd be surprised if this is bad news
Oh well, at least we should have all the technical data (mud logs, wirelogs, core samples, etc) by Tuesday confirming the outcome one way or another
