Remember in the past when AFR and other media journalists cherry pick information from reports or anonymous sources they can't reveal.......
Hard to make a subjective view based on media company releases and until you hear it from the actual sources it's hard to know the full scope from both sides. I'm sure the information is correct but the context could be way out of wack.

If NSW is not profitable than why wouldn't they just simply shut shop, sell all NSW assets. Look at the SP of some of the other casino operators like ASX SKC with lower valuations. Obviously SGR have a better relationship with QLD so operate in QLD and f* NSW? Am I missing something because if the SP goes into the 30's than NSW operations are not worth the complications.
