Iron ore prices falling due to slowing real estate construction there has little to do with older Chinese also having more money from the gains they've already made from the past couple of decades of the real estate boom.
I don't think anyone here is saying pearls will skyrocket again to that ridiculous one-off peak price a couple of years back, so not sure why you're bringing that up.
