Fearalious I don't necessarily agree with all this manipulation talk that I'm reading about all over hot copper.
Simple fact SDL went from 30c to 40c in 9 sessions. That's a 33% rise in 2 weeks. They were always going to pullback as traders lock in profits - or short sell at resistance.
Proprietary or high frequency traders make up nearly 70% of all trades on the market which is why volatility is a lot higher these days than it used to be.
The market is also looking a touch jittery and so more reason for sellers to pile in.
If you think the shares are worth more than what they are currently trading at then the short term traders are doing a good thing in allowing you to buy more at a lower price. Fundamentals will always win in the long term.
Don't worry about people laughing at your question - it was a perfectly legitimate.
