It has been a month since my last general REE price update. Things are looking positive. No 1 biggest positive is the across the board increase in magnet prices. 18 RMB in 7 weeks. Unless magnets go up there is no money to trickle down to REEO. By percent N35 (my nick name refrigerator magnets) are up 13%, 45M High performance magnets up 10%. NdPrO is second for bright spots. Unlike last April where it had huge gains just to fall back in two weeks this seems to be slow and steady which will last longer. Table shows gains for last week, month and YTD.
I also watch Li carefully. More and more Perm magnet devices are using Batteries. From mixers vacuums &tools in homes to Autos and wind. a few wind farms in US have added battery storage. Not for smoothing or backing up load but to smooth output on the wires. Without these batteries supply has to be shed when the grid wires cannot handle the current. EV are still the biggest user by a lot. Until Li goes up steadily I believe REEO will have limited growth. It will grow JMO not enough for Lynas to have a PE just above the other ASX 200 stocks to day ASX PE 20~ 24 Lynas 78. Delta of 5 to 110 would seem ok to me . One big positive for me in NdPrO is finally above my min forecast of 400RMB it has been embarrassing to see it so far below what I thought. I also use this forecast for my EPS number and that is why I was 44 % High with my EPS estimate. Table 1 shows NdPrO prices.

The last bar chart in Average NdPrO price by Q. Q1 2024 is just the average so far. You can put in a Book to Bill delay and easily figure out what NdPr prices were for a given SAR or AR And know what prices are needed for a given profit.
