You are (virtually) 100% correct.
I think my worldview has a gambling element embedded into it, lol. Relationships are a gamble. With the exception of playing poker (where you have total control, within the constraints of probability, and pay the house 5% for the punter traffic), sports, horses etc. are outside individual control. With stock you are at the mercy of management, traders, clairvoyent "sophisticates", brokers, "super-brokers" and other forces. I enjoy the risk, though.
(I still see ARV as low-risk though, lol, bit like getting 6/4 for the next ten tosses of the coin).
