This project is of great significance to Australian / Allies sourcing of rare earths rather than the dependency on the Chinese. I don’t believe VHMs rare earths will be used in defence (even more important strategy) rather in the renewable transition ie wind turbines and BEVs. Any case it’s on the Germans, US, UK and Aus agendas to become independent and our government you would think are prioritising the fast tracking of approvals. Haven’t seen that yet but see how we go..
