Yep techncially all straight forward and part fo the discusion/design, did you miss the bit about available capacity as it may be we have a small power project that is say 5lm from a 33kV connection but no teh substaion has no capcity and so the next option to to go greater distance to as you mention a higher HV and bigger step up trasnformer all techncially doable.
But how much can our proejct IRR stand if we are paying these additional connection costs; can a small power project carry these cost and still give an investor an ok IRR/payback period for country risk of Mongolia ! I do hope so.
The discussion was use of pilot gas for power genration not a 100MW power station project economics are very different.
