ozzie 10yr bonds are still within the current range...they have been bid all day today which can indicate weaknees in the A$ ..and sometimes ='s negative sentiment on the equity market..as volt said the current yeild is softer than it was yesterday ..this chart shows that at this time the yeild is 5.435% and aslo shows current sentiment is towards a lower yeild ..however we are talking very short term here this is a 24hr money market and things change very quickly..and I would'nt be reading to much into it ..but it does suggest that your short postition current in the Australian dollar is sound. I am long bonds and srt ozzie dollar ..also looking to short the emini SP500.
