I thought I would add this since I have just had a phone call from a blast from my past - a guy who worked with/for me around 15 years ago and who stayed at my place for a week or so with the ex. Well that was revealing - I appear to have been hooked up with a real douche bag. Gawd. Pretty bad indeed. In fact horrifying. He was flawed beyond belief. This guy says he wished he’d told me at the time but didn’t know how to raise it
the ex hid it well and though I knew something was wrong I couldn’t ever define it or pin it down. Hope he’s enjoying living off the money he stashed. Maybe he’s grown up a little. Haha. Every now and then someone from my past pops up - and it’s nice to know how well they remember me and the positive difference I made to their lives. Even more reason to pay no attention to the humans on hotcopper whose opinion of me is such they tell me to p off with my ex.
