Wind & Solar are not the magic bullet. Wind & Solar are just an energy source, not free, not cheap, not Renewable. ....just a mechanism to harness energy, a mechanism to harness intermittent, unreliable energy. Has its place, absolutely albeit not for base load.

There is no such thing as Green Energy. There is just Energy.
The heavy hitters know EVs are the future, they know that Storage is a big game too, but the balanced, common-sense driven mind knows not to conflate EVs with brain-washed "Green Energy " & " Climate Change Alarmist Policy" & Far Left Ideological Baloney.......or, imo....Banana Republic Economics
Lower Carbon, yes, Net Zero......LMAO

Turbines & Solar Panels are fragile & expensive.
How many days a week do they work?
Whats the life span if they dont fail, get hailed on, catch fire etc?
How much land does it consume?

Base Load will be Nuclear, and before then Gas & Coal. Ill bet my ass on it.
Australia emits 1% of Global emissions, and of that 1% what % is negative v positive v irrelevant?

Our Energy Sector should utilise all technologies, & maximise each options strengths.
Lets see how it plays out.
